Cider and must

Cider as well as must are made of apple juice. In the south of Germany, must has had a long tradition. Its typical taste is obtained by adding pears to the must, thus allowing the must to become sweeter and even more perfect. Countries like Austria and Switzerland even produce genuine pear musts.

Cider is also known as sparkling beverage since it sometimes is charged with carbon dioxide gas.
