Winery Dom Charbielin, Poland
At the foot of Biskupia Kopa, the highest peak in the Opawskie Mountains, the “Dom Charbielin” cooperative is located in the historic buildings of a former village farm. A place where friends and family live and love wine culture together.
This cooperative is led by Thomas Kwinta and the brothers Stanisław and Jarosław Grocholscy. And with success. The winery in Charbielin is now one of the largest wine producers in Poland. Thanks in part to its excellent location, which is particularly well suited to the production of fine wines.

The product portfolio ranges from classic house wines to exclusive wines and sparkling wines. However, mainly white wines are produced, including Souvignier Gris, Riesling, Chardonnay, Muscaris and Johanniter.
The winegrowers use both traditional and modern production techniques to make wine, such as ageing on yeast, bâtonnage, controlled fermentation temperature, controlled extraction on grape skins, selective self-flow fermentation and ageing in barrels.
In order to maintain this flexibility and diversity, adaptable equipment is of course essential. This is why Speidel's tanks with mobile mash plunger, as well as its fermentation and storage tanks and sparkling wine pressure tanks, are a permanent fixture.
»Modern appliances give us a feeling of security and freedom when making decisions in connection with wine production.«
The winegrowers became aware of Speidel through our Polish sales partner TSN, who provided them with excellent advice and support and quickly won them over. Today, the passionate winegrowers no longer want to be without their new stainless steel tanks, because as they themselves put it best: “Modern appliances give us a feeling of security and freedom when making decisions in connection with wine production.”
